I have been cleaning carpets and upholstery professionally for over 10 years. It is the trade I know best, and the one I have built two businesses around — first in Ukraine, and now here in Canada with BreezeCo. Back home, I started my cleaning company from scratch. The first year was difficult, but the business grew steadily, and over the following decade I developed deep hands-on expertise: fabric identification, stain chemistry, extraction technique, drying protocols, and the kind of problem-solving that only comes from thousands of completed jobs. I have worked with everything from delicate antique upholstery to heavily soiled commercial carpets, and I have seen what works, what does not, and what makes the difference between a surface-level result and a proper clean. My family and I moved to Canada after the war started in Ukraine. I spent my first months here working in landscaping and window installation — learning the local market, the climate, and the way Canadian homeowners think about their homes. About a year later, I connected with Roman, who had a strong business background and had recently completed professional cleaning certification. We shared the same standards and the same frustration with how inconsistent the local cleaning market was. BreezeCo was the result. As lead technician, I oversee every job we take on and personally handle the most complex work — set-in stains, biological contamination, delicate fabrics, and situations where a previous cleaning attempt has made things worse. Our equipment includes professional-grade extraction machines (Steam E600, Ninja 500) and we use only Health Canada-approved, eco-friendly solutions safe for children and pets.
